On 15 January 2025, Ferretti Yachts unveiled its latest model, the Ferretti Yachts 940, at a launch at the Cattolica shipyard. The 28.97-metre-long, 6.78-metre-wide yacht marks a milestone as the first ‘widebody’ model in the range, offering generous interior space and refined design.

Design AND LAYOUT
The Ferretti Yachts 940 is distinguished by its five-cabin layout, including an owner's suite on the main deck, a feature made possible by its widebody design. Versatile outdoor spaces and vast floor-to-ceiling glass surfaces offer uninterrupted views of the sea, creating a bright and open atmosphere.
The cockpit, fitted out with independent furniture, has a glass railing, establishing continuity with the aft platform and creating an ideal space for sharing convivial moments with family and friends. The main saloon, measuring around 30 square metres, is decorated in a classic style, combining warm and earthy elements to create an elegant and welcoming environment.
Performance and engines
Equipped with two MAN V12 engines, each with 2000 hp, the Ferretti Yachts 940 reaches a top speed of 25 knots and a cruising speed of 21 knots, ensuring impressive performance at sea.
Collaboration AND Expertise
The new model is the result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee, chaired by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The exterior design was entrusted to Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors were created by the Ideaeitalia design studio, ensuring perfect harmony between aesthetics and functionality.
