Pershing celebrates 40 years in 2025 in Capri

Pershing celebrated its 40th anniversary in a setting that was as spectacular as it was symbolic: the island of Capri, framed by the majestic rock formations of the Faraglioni and the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Naples.

For three days, owners from all over the world, prestigious guests and enthusiasts of the brand came together to experience an extraordinary event. Between sea escapades aboard Pershing yachts, exceptional dinners in the island's emblematic restaurants and the launch of the new Pershing GTX70, the Ferretti Group was able to convey the essence of Pershing's DNA: innovation, emotion and the art of living at sea. Guests left with stars in their eyes.

A programme of sea, spectacle and emotion

The tone was set on the very first evening: the brand new Pershing GTX70 was unveiled under a light show orchestrated by 300 drones, admired from the famous La Canzone del Mare restaurant. The atmosphere was provided by Gianluigi Lembo and his musicians from the Anema e Core club.

The next day, head to Nerano for lunch at the Michelin-starred Quattro Passi restaurant, before two exclusive Capri dinners: at the iconic Il Riccio restaurant and at chef Franco Pepe's seaside restaurant, a-Ma-Re Capri.

To mark the brand's 40th anniversary, an impressive fleet sailed the turquoise waters of Capri: the mighty Pershing 6X, 7X and 8X rubbed shoulders with models from the new Sport Utility Yacht generation, including the majestic Pershing GTX116 and the new 2025 model, the GTX70.

This parade at sea, both elegant and spectacular, confirmed Pershing's inimitable style, where speed goes hand in hand with elegance.

A celebration supported by prestigious partners

The event was supported by a number of high-profile partners. Flexjet for private aviation, Marchesi Antinori wines, Murphy&Nye® with a capsule collection dedicated to the anniversary, and SEABOB, which presented its innovative nautical toys.

Formula 1 driver George Russell, the new owner of a Pershing 6X, was on hand to confirm the brand's growing appeal to thrill-seekers and high-flying design enthusiasts.

Pershing, a brand looking to the future

A benchmark in the construction of luxury sports yachts, Pershing appeals to enthusiasts of speed, design and thrills. The message from Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group, is clear: ‘You don't drive a Pershing, you pilot one’. Today, the brand is available in two emblematic ranges: the iconic, racy X Series and the new GTX line, which redefines the codes of the Sport Utility Yacht.

Building on its 40-year history, Pershing continues to move forward with the same ambition: to push back the boundaries of yachting. Its DNA : bold design, exclusive comfort and cutting-edge performance, remains more than ever the driving force behind its success.

Exclusive French importer of the brand for over 25 years, ABYS Yachting is also taking part in this anniversary year with several events organised on the French Riviera.

In June, the Jéroboam Cup 2025 kicked off the festivities in Mandelieu-La Napoule, in an elegant atmosphere that brought together partners, golf lovers and yachting enthusiasts. 

In July, the Pershing GTX80 was invited to the prestigious Yacht Club de Monaco for the COTE Magazine evening. The programme included exclusive entertainment, a fashion show by AKRIS and a private visit aboard the flagship Pershing GTX80. It was an unforgettable evening, highlighting the brand's innovative, sporting credentials in an elegant and dynamic way, in a setting that is as iconic as the brand itself.

A final meeting is already scheduled for September, at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, to extend this historic celebration in the presence of the Pershing fleet.
