Founded in 1818 by the union of Elisabeth Salmon and Nicolas François Billecart, Champagne Billecart Salmon has been producing grand cru champagnes for generations and is particularly renowned for its brut rosé champagne.
The House's champagne is based on the unique know-how of men who share a common passion for wine and who take care to preserve the Billecart Salmon style and excellence. To achieve this, they rigorously cherish a 100-hectare estate and source their grapes from a total of 300 hectares, including the great Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier vintages in the Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs and Vallée de la Marne.
Billecart-Salmon has long been committed to responsible winegrowing, whose environmental philosophy is based on respect for the terroir in order to produce great wines. They have thus obtained two certifications: HV, High Environmental Value and VDC, Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne.
