May 23 marked a significant turning point in the world of superyachts, with the launch of the Custom Line 50 at the Ferretti Group shipyard in Ancona. Discover Custom Line's new flagship, built entirely in aluminium.

This 50-metre yacht, christened M/Y ASANTE, represents a first in the sub-500 GT metal yacht segment. The launch ceremony, held on Saturday 8 June, was attended by the owner's family, the shipyard's management and their employees, accompanied by their families. Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group, hailed the achievement as a "50-metre dream". He highlighted the advances in design and materials developed for this luxury yacht, in particular the use of aluminium, which offers significant advantages in terms of performance and fuel consumption.

REVOLUTIONARY DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE

With a length of 49.94 metres and a beam of 9.60 metres, the Custom Line 50 stands out for its clean lines and optimised volumes, guaranteeing an exceptional quality of life on board. It is the result of collaboration between the Product Strategy Department headed by Piero Ferrari and the engineering team of the Ferretti Group's superyacht division. This luxury yacht represents the culmination of extensive research by the teams, aimed at creating a yacht with exceptional sailing qualities at the cutting edge of innovation. The exterior design was entrusted to Filippo Salvetti, while the bespoke interiors were designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, reinterpreting traditional marine architecture with a contemporary touch.

The yacht spans four decks, with a master suite at the front of the upper deck. The owner's cabin, surrounded by large windows and a French window, offers 180-degree views. It is one of the masterpieces of this boat. It opens directly onto a large private terrace at the bow, with a spacious saloon and solarium. The Custom Line 50 can accommodate up to 12 guests in 5 VIP cabins on the lower deck. Enough to ensure privacy and comfort for all your guests. The ship can also accommodate 9 crew members, including the captain, whose cabin is adjacent to the wheelhouse. These features, combined with an in-depth study of the volumes and subdivision of the interiors, ensure a unique cruising experience for the owner and his guests.
