In the afternoon, head to Cousin Island, a protected bird sanctuary. Take a guided tour to discover the island's endemic bird species and its exceptional biodiversity. Spend the rest of the day exploring hiking trails or relaxing on its tranquil beaches before returning to your boat for the evening.

Hike to explore its wild landscapes and enjoy panoramic views of the ocean. Its underwater world is impressive, with over 400 species of fish, about thirty types of corals, as well as humpback whales and several species of dolphins.
After lunch on board, return to Mahé in the afternoon. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore Victoria, the capital of the Seychelles. Between the famous coco de mer (sea coconut) and giant tortoises, you'll experience fascinating discoveries.
Silhouette is ideal for swimming and snorkeling, offering crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life. Spend the day snorkeling or using the water toys provided by the yacht: you could choose between jet-skiing, paddleboarding, or seabobbing. In the evening, return to Mahé to enjoy local amenities and a dinner in town.

day 6
MAHE – LONG ISLAND – DESROCHES
In the morning, sail towards Long Island, a small paradise island known for its white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Spend the morning exploring its tranquil beaches and snorkeling.
In the afternoon, head to Desroches Island, a remote gem offering various activities such as deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, and relaxing on its secluded beaches. Desroches, an intimate destination, is distinguished by its lush vegetation, including coconut palms, takamakas, and filaos. Ideal for a beach getaway, the island features a walk that crosses its entire territory up to Pointe Hélène, where the lighthouse is located. It is also a nesting site for sea turtles. To end the day, enjoy a romantic dinner on the island at the only available hotel before spending the night on board.

day 7
DESROCHES – MAHE – ANSE ROYALE
Return to Mahé for further exploration. Dock at Anse Royale, a stunning beach ideal for a peaceful swim and water sports. Popular activities here include swimming, snorkeling, enjoying fresh seafood, and discovering historical sites such as the Sainte-Thérèse Church.

Luxury Yacht Charter in the Seychelles
The Seychelles archipelago, with its 115 idyllic islands scattered across the Indian Ocean, offers an exceptional setting for pleasure cruising. Its crystal-clear waters are home to pristine white sand beaches, preserved coral reefs, and a unique marine biodiversity. Renting a yacht in the Seychelles allows you to explore this maritime paradise at your own pace, far from crowded tourist spots.
Why Choose the Seychelles for Your Yacht Cruise?
Seychellois waters enjoy a stable tropical climate with temperatures ranging from 24 to 30°C year-round. Consistent trade winds provide ideal sailing conditions, especially from April to October. The archipelago is divided into two distinct groups: the granitic Inner Islands, such as Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue, and the wilder, more pristine Outer Coral Islands.
This destination stands out for its remarkable safety: piracy and political conflicts, which affect some areas of the Indian Ocean, are absent here. Modern port facilities in Victoria and professional nautical services ensure a worry-free experience, even for less experienced sailors.
Must-Visit Islands on a Private Yacht
Praslin is home to the legendary Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the suggestive coco de mer grows. Anse Lazio, often ranked among the world’s most beautiful beaches, offers a peaceful anchorage surrounded by time-sculpted granite rocks. The island also boasts authentic Creole villages and vibrant markets.
La Digue captivates with its old-world charm, where ox carts and bicycles remain the main modes of transport. Anse Source d’Argent enchants photographers worldwide with its rounded rocks and shallow turquoise waters. Divers particularly appreciate the island’s preserved underwater ecosystems, teeming with tropical fish and sea turtles.
Navigation and Anchorages: What You Need to Know
Distances between the main islands are short, typically between 5 and 15 nautical miles, allowing for relaxed days without long, tiring crossings. Protected anchorages are plentiful, especially on the leeward side of the islands, ensuring calm nights even in stronger winds.
Seychelles maritime regulations require certain entry and exit formalities for territorial waters. A navigation permit is mandatory, usually included in professional charter services. Special permits are needed for marine protected areas, particularly around Aldabra, home to century-old giant tortoises.
When to Plan Your Yacht Charter?
The dry season, from May to October, offers optimal weather conditions with less rainfall and steady southeast trade winds. This period is the high tourist season, so early booking is recommended to secure your ideal yacht.
The rainy season, from November to April, has its own advantages: warmer temperatures, lush vegetation, and often more attractive rates. Tropical showers are typically brief and intense, followed by beautiful clear skies. However, avoid January and February, which are more prone to tropical depressions.
